Very strange to me at least. Small, around 7 mm. La Garnatilla, coastal area of Granada (S Spain). April 8, 2012.

Nice, a female Chamaesyrphus sp.
There are a few species in this genus in europe, I'm not sure what species it is.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
