Volucella... zonaria?

yesterday at Sestrica, Aragon, Spain. Habitat: Quercus suber forest. Very common in this forest but do not existe at lower level, in the fields.

Same size than zonaria: bigger than pellucens, lesser than inanis. When I saw it I thinked directly in V. zonaria. But seeing it closer, I found the colour a little strange. These reddish marks in the thorax and the abdomen colour makes me think in anothes species. It is true or it's only a colour variation of zonaria?

Hi Isidro,
in Spain there is another species Volucella elegans.
Though I have never seen this species, I think it could be this one with this big dark patch in the middle of wings...
Perhaps John or Gerard do know ?
