July 22, 2007, Ozhigovo station, Naro-Fominsk district, Moscow region, on the same fallen aspen with lots of Strongylophthalmyia. Size 8 to 9 mm (this and two other (considerably smaller) specimens collected but not measured or treated otherwise yet).

Many thanks Paul (I thought there's more than one species but it seems we have only M. dolium). Size of collected specimens (all males) 7 to 8 mm.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
