You are right John and I just find a female H oculata with red antennae. So you confirm Stephane diagnosis : H oculata possible. Thanks to both Eugene |

Eugene, first, change the title to attract the Heleomyzidae experts ! Indeed, H. atricornis has black antennae, a darker scutellum and a frons with parallel borders. See : Stephane Lebrun attached the following image: [40.89Kb] Stephane. |
