Photograph taken on 14 December, 2013, in the wetlands of the Suárez Pond, Motril, Granada, Spain. Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast. Callliphoridae indeed: Chrysomyia. I can't be sure, but it seems to be Ch. megacepaha. A female. Theo |

I am not a specialist  but I know the species of this genus found in Spain well enough to assure you that it is indeed a female of Chrysomyia megacephala Great pictures!! |
