 Photograph taken on May 20, 2012, in the wetlands of the Su�rez Pond, Motril, Granada, Spain.
Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast.
Apparent size with wings, about 5 mm

 Thecophora is a genus within the subfamily Myopinae. Within the genus there are some groups; one of them is the atra group. They are a real problem to separate.
