First of all, thank you to you all for your answers Secondly, no real lateral views unfortunately. He didn't suspect it could be interesting. It came to a light trap. Interesting this issue of the light... Piluca, please note that all Tachinids are always interesting by definition. Well, that is something that probably you have taken notice that works for me I am hooked!!   And coming back to the light, although I know I should start another thread, I think this should stay in the same thread Have a look at this another specimen that came to a light trap, this time in Almeria (SE Spain) in April this year. Yes, it is Istochaeta, excellent call by Stephane I'm not going to speculate on the species, those are pretty similar and moreover I know there are undescribed species around in Europe.... Theo |
