this stratiomyidae ist from july from the austrian alps. Does anyone know, what it is? (Length estimated 8mm).

Allognosta is the only genus in Beridinae with apical setation on the first flagellomere of the antenna and no scutellar spines. Adults are 4-7 mm in length ...

Hello Paul,

you are right. The scutellar spines are well visible here - 4 or 6 spines. So my next guess would Beris sp.

I have another photo from the side. Perhaps it helps.
