picture 25 10 2008, size ~10 - 12 mm
In the gallery there is E. larvarum, but in the most common Western Europe is E. rustica, is it?

This is neither, since the eyes are distinctly hairy.
So it must be grandis or segregata.

Can't see the position of the ocellar bristles, so I can't tell
(in grandis they stand before the anterior ocellus).
