Female Chrysosoma leucopogon (Wiedemann, 1824) probably (there are no other species of the genus on Reunion).

I have Doli collection from the island with many undescribed species. If you collected something, please send me material.

Thanks a lot Igor
Unfortunately, I am no dipterologist, just a photographer who tries to be a little less ignorant when he dies! I do not collect, but next time, I'll try to get some specimen;
Cheers
Philippe

Now I consider it Chrysosoma snelli Curran, 1927: Ann.Mag.nat.Hist. (9)19: 5 ** Type locality: Zanzibar: Pemba I. // syn. of Chrysosoma leucopogon (Wiedemann, 1824) (Dyte, 1975: Catal.Dipt.orient. Reg. 2: 218); but see Grichanov, 1998: Bull.Inst.r.Sci.nat.Belg., Entomologie, 68: 104. Afrotropical: Tanzania, Kenya, Madagascar, Reunion, Mauritius, Aldabra, Rodriguez, Seychelles; Oriental: India (Goa), Chagos Archipelago, Maldives (Grichanov, 2011: Priamus Supplement 24: 24) *

leucopogon Wiedemann, 1824 is excluded from Afrotropics:

Grichanov, I.Ya., 2011. An illustrated synopsis and keys to afrotropical genera of the epifamily Dolichopodoidae (Diptera: Empidoidea). - Priamus Supplement 24: 1-98, 305 figs.
