One of the early flys in my garden in Brussels this year (together with Asteia amoena. It is about 6 mm long.

Hi, post your images, or at least make a clickable link by using the url tags.

The fly is a Heleomyzid, a Tephroclamys if I am not mistaken. Change the title to Heleomyzidae to attract the Andrzej.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
