I'd say Conops flavipes. I didn?t see anymore Conops since AUgust.  I think you are right. |

I agree with Jorge about C. flavipes; try this key for Conopidae (go to Conops there): http://home.hccne...index.html, Thanks to Mark van Veen! IMO, flying Conopidae demonstrate the most impressive mimicry!  I think it's a very effective trick to approach the host (Conopidae are parasitic flies, females infect hymenopterans in the air...). Thank you I tryed the key and, if I done the things right, it belongs without a doubt to the species Conops flavipes. |
