As for me, I prefer small woman. This fly apparently doesn't think so.
Moscow region, 09 june, 4-4,5mm (male).

Limnophora tigrina (Muscidae). By co-incidence I photographed some males today. The two dark patches in front of the suture and the broad dark band behind is quite distinctive, though they are sometimes mistaken for Anthomyia (Anthomyiidae).
I make no comment about size - my lovely wife uses this computer too! Wink
