I need help to identify some species of Diptera, which photographer in Brazil, and I ask to the members of this forum, starting with a kind family Asilidae, I photographed in March 2012, in Petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, the city where I live. Here is the photo:  Coordinates of the place where I took this photo: Latitude: -22.538400, Longitude: -43.228468 Date and time: March 6, 2012 at 10.46am GMT+3 Thanks for help! if the nails are blunt, they are Amblyonychus if they are sharp Promachus I thing they are Amblyonychus Jose M., Ayala L. |
