Hello

I saw these Asilidae in French Alps (1500m high) in August 2007.
The size is about 16mm.

Is it Stenopogon sp. ?

Can someone determine the species with other pics or is it possible only with genitalia ?

Regards

Frown

I suppose this silence means that it is Stenopogon sp. and that no one can determine the species with my pics ...

Because of the low diversity of Stenopogon species in the French Alps, this image shows Stenopogon sabaudus. Please add a copy to Wikipedia on http://commons.wi...i/Asilidae. Yours
